I haven't had a great weekend like this in a long time! Addison is finally at an age where we can leave her to babysit for an hour or so. Steve and I enjoyed a nice dinner OUT!! We went to a great Mexican joint here in town. They have amazing salsa. I know you wanted to know that.
Yesterday I went to a baby shower for an old friend. I hate when friends move away. You have every good intention of staying in touch with them but then life gets busy and time passes quickly and before you know it it's been months or even years since you've seen each other or talked to each other. Well it's been almost 2 years since we've moved to Tooele. That's so hard to believe. I'm soooo happy that I went! We had an amazing time. I was able to see some dear friends who I haven't seen in a very long time. It was so awesome to see familiar faces. I loved hanging out with those girls. I missed them more than I realized. I missed hearing the stories, seeing their faces and hearing their laughs. I realized that although life gets busy I need to stay in touch with them! I missed them!
I realized also that I long for friendships like those again. But I know that they don't come around very often in life. I loved that we could sit at the playgroud for hours and let the kids play while we talked and sipped our diet Cokes. I miss our card club! Thanks for the memories girls!! I will treasure them ALWAYS! It was so good to catch up!
Then to top things off we went out to dinner with Tiff and Jared. It seems like we are with them every weekend. And I wouldn't have it any other way! I hope they would't either. I love them soooo much! We went to Tepanyaki for dinner. It was fun to see them cook right in front of us. I was just bummed that I only caught the shrimp with my nose instead of my mouth. Oh well...next time. It was a blast!!

I miss our card club girls too...I had such a great time with everyone and I learned so much from you, and not just about card making. Nex time you see them tell them hello from me. If I ever get back out to Utah we need to get together, or you guys can come and visit sunny Florida.
When are you going on your trip? and where are you going, cruise, plane?
This is true.. Lets not stay out of touch.. I already miss catching up with you at work.. But I am very happy for you .. you are doing what ever mom wants to do..& that is being home with them... Glad you had a great weekend.
Found you! Wasn't that fun? I couldn't believe it was 1:30 when I left. I had to race home and get Abs ready for a bday party. It was so great to see everyone. By the way, your card club was the best. When I tell people how we did it, they say that it sound like way more fun than how most people do it. And it WAS!!
I bet you are going to have a better weekend this coming one! Cruise.. I only have one question.. who is going to take care of yuor farm when you are away? LOL!
