Glad I Made it Home

I got caught in this today. What a mess! A 54 year old man died in the accident that caused this massive traffic jam. He was driving recklessly and caused 3 different accidents before he slammed his car into a concrete barrier. He was not wearing his seatbelt. I was on my way to get Steve from work. He only works about 27 miles from our home. I left our house at 2:15 and we didn't get back home until 5:30. I was able to get off the freeway and go around some of it but it took forever and I decided to do that because traffic was at a complete stand still. As we were driving home we saw them hauling off the man's car. I really felt so sad. How many lives changed in just one moment? It could've been me. It could've been you. I said a prayer for those involved. It was the only thing I could do. I hate feeling helpless. I just wanted to go home and veg with my family and we did!

Oh I am so glad you are OK! It makes you appreciate life so much more when you see the sad loss of someone else! Give your family a hug and love them tighter tonight!
