My Week

We've had a fun week here in the Warner house! Tomorrow is the last day of school. It's hard to believe that I will now have a 2nd grader and a 4th grader! I can't believe Addison is that old! I totally remember 4th grade! Here are a few picts to recap our week.

Addison brought home this award today from school. We are soooooo proud of her. She scored in the top 10% in the nation for her testing that she did back in October!

Steve FINALLY agreed to buy a trampoline. We've been wanted one for a long time and the kids just love it. He was concerned that they would grow tired of it but they haven't. They can't wait to go jump everyday. Carter especially loves it. He is fearless though which is why I can't wait to put up the enclosure.

Carter's t-shirt says it all!

Ok...I know...crazy! I've always wanted to get my nose pierced. In all honesty I still can't believe I did it. Why you ask? I have ALWAYS wanted one. And I won't be able to get away with having one for very much longer. I figure life is too short and I want to live my life with no regrets. Some don't agree with it and that's ok. I would NEVER judge someone based on what they do! Ok...I would but just if they were psyco or something! I love it. I'd like to say THANK YOU to those that haven't judged or been rude about it! Thank you for loving me for who I am. It means a lot to me. I've always been out there a bit. I've had so many people say how much they LOVE it too.

I know that some of my posts are very personal and this is one of them. It's no secret that I've been struggling with some things and some may think that me piercing my nose is a rebelious thing to do but it's just the opposite. I've decided that life is too short and I will live in a way that brings happiness to me, my husband and kideroos. I've been thinking so hard lately about what truly makes me happy and why certain things that people say should make someone happy doesn't make me personally happy. Does that make sense? I can't believe that I'm sharing so much but I have to get this out.

Lately I've been feeling like something is wrong with me. We recently moved into our house and I've had the hardest time with that. I feel like we are where we are supposed to be but I've never had neighbors that are like this. They won't even give us the time of day! It's so crazy. Is it a Utah thing? Is it a local thing? I don't get it at all. I wish someone would explain.

I've also been struggling with working full-time and balancing being a wife and a mother and having to take care of the house. So what did I do about it??? I hired a maid! That's right. I no longer have to worry about cleaning my bathrooms, moping, dusting, etc. It's been amazing! I don't feel guilty about it at all. I am no super woman and I will take whatever help I can get or hire! It was hilarious what the kids said about it. Ian wanted to know if she was going to be sleeping in his bed! I think they watch a little too much TV. I told them that she would not be living with us, just coming in once a week to clean.

Ok...I've shared too much. Sorry about that. I feel better though. Thank you to my family and friends who love me despite my choices and all! I love you.

You left off my biggest concern about trampolines. Its like a MasterCard commercial.

New trampoline - $200
Trips to the ER - $75/each
Permanemtly wounding your child - priceless?

BTW - The kids and I love you. The nasal jewelry (and whatever else) doesn't change who you are or how we feel about you. Anyone who changes thier opinion of you because of a little piece of jewelry is shallow and ignorant. Just my opnion.

Love you sweetheart!

Hey Tami,
I am so jealous, I want a maid AND I stay home all day. You are awesome. Hopefully the neighbor thing will get better.

You've been TAGGED. Here's what you do:

1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
