Top 5...
1. I went letterboxing this week. It was cold! The hubs came with me. We went downtown Salt Lake. We found the box which was located in some big bushes. We noticed an open umbrella in the bushes. Weird. How did THAT get in there? I found a dry patch of grass about 2 feet away from the bushes and happily stamped away. I was there for about 5 minutes when I heard a voice that I swore came from the bushes but I just ignored it. I finally finished and put all my things away. As I was standing up to put the box back I saw a homeless man walk into the bushes. WHAT?? There was a homeless camp in those bushes! I sat there and stamped just feet away from them. Can you imagine what they were thinking? I pull a box from their "camp", sit down and put it all back. It was so creepy!! But so funny to me at the same time.
2. Do you like to read? I certainly do. I love getting caught up in a good book. I love escaping the reality of my life for just a little while. I jumped on The Hunger Games band wagon. And I'm so excited that I did. I'm reading the 3rd and final book of the series. They are so good!
3. I hid my very first letterbox this week. It's called Minnie's Famous Chocolate Pie. I carved the stamp myself too!
4. I took two of my favorite people to a dessert cafe called The Chocolate. I took my daughter and one of the YW from our ward. It was delicious and the location was so charming! If you are even in West Jordan, UT stop in, you won't regret it.
5. My 5 year old and I got our pictures taken while he was in the hospital in January. There were for Primary Children's new website. Our picture made it! I love it!
Bottom 5...
1. If you have older kids you will totally understand this. When your child makes a really "bad" friend you want that friendship to end ASAP! When it does and they become friends again it makes you want to vomit. One child brought said "friend" home with them one day this week after school. This "friend" was sent home immediately. Actually it wasn't that immediate because they kept trying to manipulate my child into what they wanted. I finally had to tell her to leave and never return.
2. Here's a little known fact about me...I HATE, HATE, HATE shopping with other people. I HATE it. I hate shopping in general. I'd rather read 1776 then go shopping.
3. I had to pull out our carpet cleaner yesterday morning to clean the 5 year old's mattress. The Velcro end of his ileostomy bag got caught on a fleece blanket and came open. Use your imagination as to what that scene looked like.
4. Being unemployed SUCKS. Getting no unemployment sucks even harder. We do have so much to be grateful for though. We have had some friends who have helped and my in-laws have helped too! If it wasn't for the Hubs' parents I don't know what we would do. And he's had some AMAZING interviews. You know the kind where you hang up and immediately call your parents? Yea, those. Please pray he gets it! It would mean a major change for us and we need it!
5. Wants vs. needs is very hard! Do you think a new tattoo is a need? I thought so too.
I hope you all have a fantastic week!!

+1 on my parents. We are so blessed to have them and so grateful for all they do.
To save $$ on the tattoo, how 'bout if I just take a Sharpie and draw on your back? My stick figures are pretty awesome.
...and stop hating on 1776. Its an excellent book!
YES! On the new tattoo! I'd even pay for it!! :)
