Hospital Pictures...7th Surgery

I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that we are home.  Carter went in for his 7th surgery on March 22nd.  He did GREAT!!  We came home on Wednesday and unfortunately found ourselves back the next day.  We enjoyed 24 hours at home.  He got a nasty bacterial infection and came home on antibiotics plus irrigations for the next 3 weeks.  I'm too tired to type anythings else so enjoy the pictures!!

Being brought up to his room after surgery
PCMC has teachers that provide lessons for the kids.  Carter was studying his alphabet.
He fell asleep with that remote!  He had to know where it was at ALL times!
One of my favorite things about the hospital are the animals that come see the kids.

Making "wishes" in the fountains outside
He's making a bird feeder.  This was the 1st stay.  He couldn't go to the playroom after his diagnosis with C. Diff.
We met another Hope Kids family.  This young man made Harry Potter wands and other things for PCMC patients.  They were donated to the cancer unit but he saved a special wand just for Carter.
Riding in style!

His treasure chest
Two of his favorite loves...Star Wars and music

Oh man did he LOVE riding around on the trikes.  This one fit his IV pole perfectly!

We took advantage of the warm weather and went on the patio.  The Hubs was a good sport while Carter traced his body!

On Wednesday night Hope Kids had a special Easter event for in-patient kids.  And they even let Ellis join in the festivities.

Marshmallow gun.  He was in Heaven

What are the odds of 2 cousins being admitted to the same hospital, at the same time for the same disease?  Only in our family!  Ellis had to be brought down for some issues.  The boys had a BLAST!!
