Want To Know Wednesday

This week has been a CRAZY one!  My nephew is in the hospital.  He was life flighted to Salt Lake from Idaho.  I thought I'd take a minute to just blog about some fun stuff!  He's doing so much better today I think I can!

Oh I also found out that my son will have ANOTHER colostomy placed!  What a week!   

{1} You have been asked to give a 10 minute speech to teenage girls. What is it about?  I would talk to them how to look at the "big picture" of life.  I would tell them to love more and bully less.  

{2} Do you have a pet? Tell us about them. No pets? Why?  We used to have a dog named "Charlie."  We all miss him so much!  When we moved back to the Salt Lake area we had to find him another family to live with.  I think we are ready for another dog, especially with Carter's health problems.  He loves dogs and it would really be a comfort to him!

{3} What is the biggest inconvenience about the place you’re currently living?  It's OLD, OLD, OLD and totally outdated.  The kitchen needs upgrades in a major way and our house is LOUD!  The floors squeak so badly!  I really hate it.  Oh and we still are waiting for the back yard to be put in.  

{4} What do you think is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?  Honestly, it's to get back together with my husband.  We separated 8 years ago for a few months and life has been good ever since!  I really do love my husband!

{5} What are the THREE "nevers" of your life? (things you would never do or have never done)  


I've never been to jail...oh wait, yes I have!  But I've never been BOOKED into jail!  My ex-brother in law used to work at a jail and he gave us an in-depth tour!
I've never gotten a tattoo...oh wait.  Crap!  This is hard.  
I've never shaved my head...oh wait!  Dang it!
I've never been on Dr. Phil...Shoot
I've never won the lottery...well big time I mean.
I've never gone skinny dipping...I give up! 


Ok...I'll think of something I've never done.  


I've never been to New York City.  I want to go very badly.  I want to see the Statue of Liberty.  I want to wait in the crowd for the Today Show.  I want my picture taken with hunky Matt Lauer.

I've NEVER been called for jury duty.  Yes, I am a registered voter.  I've dodged that bullet for 18 years!

I've never been hospitalized for an illness.  Having children doesn't count!
