Day 3 Continued...Peter Whitmer Farm

After about a 5 hour drive from Vermont we arrived at the Peter Whitmer Farm. This place has such a rich history. Joseph Smith finished translating the Book of Mormon here. This is where he received the Priesthood. This is where, on April 6, 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was organized. There were about 50-60 people in attendance. Somehow the all fit into the tiny cabin. We didn't have much time at all here because we needed to head up to the girls camp. But the time we were able to spend here was wonderful.
