A Royal Tea Party

If you hadn't heard; there was a royal wedding yesterday.  And in honor of that event I threw a royal tea party!  We had such a fun time!  I love weddings and I was really amazed at the culture and the ceremony.  I loved every second of the wedding.  Kate's dress was amazing and they just looked so happy.  I hope they have a happily ever after future!
I served tea sandwiches, cookies, almond bars, scones complete with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, herbal tea and lemon/cucumber water.  The tea was amazing!  I bought it at The London Market downtown Salt Lake.  This tea is imported from England and is so good!  Move over Celestial Seasonings!  You've got NOTHING on Twinings.
I had to serve nut cups.  These are ridiculous little cups filled with mixed nuts and butter mints that are so popular among Mormon weddings.  I refuse to serve these at my children's weddings.  I thought it was funny!

How cute is she?  I found these tiny princess tiaras at the store!  They were perfect.

Some of my very favorite people ever!
Do we look proper with our pinkies out?  I didn't think so.
I'm a dork and took a picture of this dress.  Why?  Not sure.  I guess I really liked the dress.
I know this might sound crazy but I LOVE to clean up after parties.  I think about how much fun we had.
Yes, I even bought a poster!  This is my adorable friend, Heidi.
How cute is she in this hat?  Heidi I love your guts!  You make me so happy!
As I was cleaning up this morning I saw this on my kitchen counter.  I looks like a happy face to me!  It made me smile.

I need to have parties more often!
Did you watch the wedding?
