I Have A Confession

I've never eaten or cooked an Artichoke.  I'm eating in a whole new way now and so I'm trying lots of new fruits and vegetables.  These were on sale and so I bought 5 of them.  I'm a little scared, I won't lie.  

Now to look on the internet about how to cook and eat them.

Good luck! We got a bunch of those in bountiful baskets. They taste good...the hard part is finding a way to eat them with out the yummy stuff...such as dipping them in butter (or like some suggest mayo) or putting them in the cheese spinach artichoke dip.

Fill a huge pot of water that will nearly cover them (they float.? Trim the tops of the leaves. Bring water to a boil....salt it a little. Throw them in and let them cook for like 45 minutes. If you stick the fork in the bottom it should be really soft but it really takes that long to cook them. I make them all the time!
